I was looking for faster recovery and more stamina for workouts. It definitely delivered in that area but found after a while I couldn't sleep at night and became a little gittery which countered overall performance. The moral: take it in moderation ...Like every 2nd or 3rd day. This stuff is unlike any natural remedy I've ever taken. Very potent!!

I have been taking 8 milligrams of astaxanthin daily for about 3 years. I am very pleased with it. It has greatly reduced stiffness and pain in my lower back and joints. my cholesterol readings have also been very favorable while taking this product. However, I took other supplements to reduce my cholesterol readings at the same time, so I can't say exactly what effect this product had on that ... Show Full Comment

It really works. After taking Astaxanthin (10mg) per day for a month, I've experienced more energy, sharper eye sight, shorter recovery after workout. I'll continue taking it.
