I've got Cranberry With D-Mannose from the Vitamin Shoppe (for UTI) I knew only certain type of e-coli bacteria responds to it (not all) but tried anyway. I took it for 3 days, saw no result and had to take antibiotics. I have had Interstitial Cystitus(sp) for 9 years this month. I was told about this less then a week ago. I have been taking the 5 times a day dose of 3 capsules. I had almost an immediate result. I have had very little pain & if there is some it's time for my next does. Then usually within an hour it's gone. I still go kinda frequently but some times it's just habit. Label says 4 d ... This is an incredibly effective way to treat a bladder infection. My daughter has had bladder infections for the past 5 years and has been using antibiotics to treat at least 5 times per year. She even had an operation to close the valve in the urethrea that we thought might be at the root of the problem. Started using D-Mannose and all symptoms have gone away. I am incredibly skeptical of mircle cures but I have to say I was blown away. I was on my third UTI in three months and didn't want to do any more antibiotic poees. I took high doses of the powderand withing a day and a half all symptoms gone! So happy to know this exsists. I should note I drank a lot of water and ate super healthy.
