Comment:
Doctor prescribed in the UK in 1986 for painful varicose veins in right knee. Pain suppressed in 30 min lasting for most of day. Restarted taking 500mg twice a day when found in Canada in 2008 with same effect, now also haemeroid relief. Replaces folic acid, which was also effective, due to concerns of possible tumor growth acceleration.

I started using Bio-Rutin Complex to strengthen my capillaries so they do not break everytime I scratch myself. After one and a half month of treatment there is no change. Does anybody have an idea what the reason might be?

I suffer from Schamburg's Disease (3yrs), an unsighly capillaritis on my legs. Also known as progressive pigmented purpuric dermatitis. I take 250mg of Rutin and 1000 mg of vitamin C a day. The symptoms are greatly diminished. Saw the treatment in a Dermatology Journal.

Comment:
I learned about Rutin in the late 70's after I had my first child and had the unpleasurable experience of hemorrhoids. Rutin worked. I also took in my 6 month of pregnancy with 2nd child with no side effects. Every time there is a flare up. I use 2000 mg a day for a few weeks and they are gone, or atleast tolerable.
