    Comment:
I was introduced to rutin in 1974 by a woman who did not want to take blood pressure medication. It worked so well for her that she never informed her hospital consultant that she wasn't taking the BP medication. Since then I have recommended it to many patients and it has mostly produced excellent results. In some cases it is necessary to be patient and may take several weeks to work but for ... Doctor prescribed in the UK in 1986 for painful varicose veins in right knee. Pain suppressed in 30 min lasting for most of day. Restarted taking 500mg twice a day when found in Canada in 2008 with same effect, now also haemeroid relief. Replaces folic acid, which was also effective, due to concerns of possible tumor growth acceleration.

I started using Bio-Rutin Complex to strengthen my capillaries so they do not break everytime I scratch myself. After one and a half month of treatment there is no change. Does anybody have an idea what the reason might be?

I suffer from Schamburg's Disease (3yrs), an unsighly capillaritis on my legs. Also known as progressive pigmented purpuric dermatitis. I take 250mg of Rutin and 1000 mg of vitamin C a day. The symptoms are greatly diminished. Saw the treatment in a Dermatology Journal.
