I need to start by saying that my experience with this is very limited. That said my IBS-C was flaring up quite dramatically 2 days ago, and it is now nearly gone after taking 648 mg on day 1, none day 2, and 324 mg this morning. I suffer from burning low back pain everyday. I take B.H. with every meal and it's amazing how much better I feel. Painting the porch presently. Also B.H.helps the pain in my legs.

HAVE TRIED BETAINE HYDROCHLORIDE 3 DIFFERENT TIMES IN TABLET FORM. EACH TIME IT MADE ME VERY ILL. NAUSEA WITH TERRIBLE UPSET STOMACH, EVEN WHEN TAKEN WITH FOOD AS DIRECTED. I WILL NOT TAKE IT AGAIN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE ELSE. TERRAINZYME HCL PRO-ZYME Z-26 BY APEX ENERGETICS, INC.

After reading a couple of negative reviews especially lavita's, I think it's necessary to point out that this supplement needs to be taken during your meal which must include a reasonal amount of protein. Betaine HCL isn't a supplement you take at anytime as adverse reactions will be felt if you do so. It's also something that you build up in dosage. Read any info on it by Kris Kre ...
