My wife was having IVF and after one failed treatment was told that her FSH was 25 and it needed to be below 12 on the next blood test to recieve another free treatment. We have just recieved her latest blood test and her FSH level has come down to 7 which means we can start treatment again. I'm 40 years old and have also been taking the drug at 2 x 25mg a day and notice positive affects in my mental well being, I fell phiscally stronger and more toned and have much more energy. I used to fell depressed and wake up and go to bed happy, I will definatley continure with the treatment and remain positive about my wife ability to have children.

I took 50mg DHEA for some years up to the age of 80 and then did not bother to continue with it, I noticed little difference and was glad to save the expense. However I am now 84 and seem to be lacking energy and notice that my instant recall memory is now not as good as it was.I am wondering whether resuming a course of DHEA might improve matters or whether I am just being subject to the normal ... I took 50mg DHEA for some years up to the age of 80 and then did not bother to continue with it, I noticed little difference and was glad to save the expense. Self diagnosed with PCOS ended with surgery for removal of a cancerous cyst on the overy, 6 months ago. My mother put me on DHEA and had such good results my Dr. upped my daily dose from 25mg to 37.5 mg. one pill and a half. I have had no symptoms since the surgery a problem that has plagued me, for 8 years.

I can get up in the morning feeling good, my libido has returned, and I just feel good. I didn't even realize that how I had been feeling was a problem until I finally felt good again. I have had mild breakouts on my face, but they have subsided. This stuff is great. I never thought it would have all of these good benefits, as I am only taking it for fertility issues. I highly recommend dhea to anyone over 40 who just feels a little "blah" and can't really pinpoint why.
