I am 71 and have BPH. After trying three of the doctor recommended meds, I found they all had rather bad side affects. Was getting up 3-5 times a night to go to the bathroom. Tried 100mg Pygeum extract twice daily. Got me down to 0-1 bathroom visits per night! Warning: I had to try 5 different manufacturers to find one that had a bioactive product. They prescribed Avodart which didn't help. Then I got Cardura and it worked but feeling like I was going to pass out never went away, so I got this combo. It was a miracle, I could go with no problem again and no side effects. Now ... Show Full Comment

Comment:
Pygeum was very effective for me, but almost killed me. Read on: the symptom for which I took pygeum, BPH and decreased urinary flow, was effectively treated within a week of taking the herb. I also noticed other pleasant side effects, such as increased libido, increased semen volume, and rapid recovery after sex. Unfortunately, pygeum also was the cause of occasional rapid heart rate that took me ... Show Full Comment
