I was told to put spirit of turpentine on a cut that was caused by anything metal. It works remarkably well it stops the bleeding and heals very fast. I also was told about a horse that had stepped on a railroad spike. The owner was worried he would have to put him down. But the nail was removed flush with turpentine and it healed very fast the horse never even had a limp. Add spirit of turpentine ... Show Full Comment

I'm getting back into shape. I've been very sore. I have to say this helps with the soreness and the pain! You don't need a lot just dab some and rub it in.

*This review is for Dr. J. H. McLeans Volcanic oil Liniment. I have arthritis in my knee. I put it on several times and have never had any relief. Always end up taking motrin later. It smells very strongly, also. I threw it out tonight and put some Arnica gel on my knee.

Painful boil on leg. No money for doctor. Tried ever home-remedy but only Turpentine stopped the pain when rubbed on the area.

As soon as i applied the turpentine oil on my neck i felt immediate relief from stress and severe arthritis on my neck which affects me daily. The only side effect i felt was that it made me sweat. Nothing has ever worked right away!
