I have disabling pain that doctors have not been much help with. Jamaican Dogwood is the most effective natural remedy I have used for pain. I am aware that there may be safety concerns and use it with care; however it does help my quality of life, activity level and ability to function.

I am currently experimenting with a strong Jamaican Dogwood extract that I prepared myself and am finding that 5 drops has reduced my sciatic pain and muscle spasms from a herniated disc a good bit and I am definitely drowsy. I increased up to 5 drops after having no effects with less. I cannot tolerate many conventional pain and and inflammatory medicines,(ex:NSAIDs) so have been researching herbs for two years now. I may have to increase the dosage for this extract a bit more-one drop at a time, over time.Read More Read Less

I was in a car accident and sustained a facial and head injury. I had to have reconstructive surgery under one side of my face including the oribital and jaw bone. I have had severe trigeminal nerve pain and eye cluster headaches. Jamaican dogwood has helped me with this excrutiating pain and eye cluster headaches as well as migraines from a previous accident. I do have a Master Herbal Diploma so I am making notes of my experience and using caution.
