...learned at once to ferment my own and that was just wonderful...learning how and when to drink is still not answered but it is still just great to prepare and drink....also have shared with several people who now make their own...stopped after 2 years for about 3 months but am at it again...and doing more research regarding...find that there are just too many commercial hook ups that seem to be ... I am 34 years old with degenerative disc disease and arthritis in the spine due to a car accident 20 years ago. I tried everything medicine had to offer short of surgery to relieve my pain, which had reached an unbearable level. I have MS and drink 200ml Kombucha most days. I take NO medication & have not had a relapse for 14 years but wether or not due to kombucha I can't say. Make my own. Those having trouble should look at cleanliness & temperature as too cold inhibits mushroom. I have grown healthy fungus from a fingernail size piece. I've had a hard time brewing Kombucha tea. I finally got a good batch and drank two ounces a couple of times a day- I've had an allergic reaction to it and also water kefir I was able to drink water kefir for a couple of months, no problem, after that I developed an allergic reaction to both of these.
