    I use GLA to treat A-fib. (Atrial fibrillation). I was having episodes several times a month, sometimes several times a week, and going to the emergency room way too often. It took about three weeks of using 1000 mg of GLA a day to see the effect, but I did not have an a-fib episode for over four months. I am down to three episodes in six months! A huge improvement!     Taking 1.6 grams/day of pure GLA for Rheumatoid Arthritis (four 400mg pills) (I do not take Borage oil or Primrose OIL with GLA just pure GLA) It worked for me in 3 days, no pain in fingers, no RA for 18 months.     I use it to treat tremors associated with the use of lithium in the treatment of bipolar disorder. GLA has worked for me very well.
