I take passionflower everyday for both my anxiety and insomnia. I plan on continuing to use it for a very long time, as it had helped immensely with both! I make tea out of it as it seems to be the best economical decision for the long run. I have 3-4 cups throughout the day with a tablespoon or a bit more of the dried herb, and usually have two cups at once a little while before bed. This helps w ... Show Full Comment

I have so far had a good experience with passion flower. My husband and I were very concerned about the ativan I'd been prescribed after I started having memory lapses and this has been so much better. The liquid version does taste a bit funky...think raisins but not in a good way...but I've found some good mixes to make it okay. I started using 350mg at night to help with anxiety that started approximately 1 month ago. I tried celexa and had to use ativan a few times prior to the passion flower. I had to discontinue celexa due to tremors, headaches, and increased anxiety. I now just take inositol (a b vitamin) and 350mg of the passion flower at night to help me sleep and eliminate early morning anxiety (this was the worst ... Show Full Comment
