I took copper 2mg daily for joint pain. I am pain free while I continue to run, but I was getting a tingling sensation in my right ear spreading to my scalp. I quit taking copper and the sensations have greatly reduced.

My levels of iron were low and I was considered anemic. Along with my iron supplement I took 2 mg of copper twice a day which helped to get my iron level up to normal.

I am 66 years old, diagnosed with SLE, Lupus, a connective tissue disorder many years ago. When almost on my deathbed, at age 45, from Lupus, I have remained in 'remission'21 years asymptomatic. I have learned that people, like myself, who have Rh Negative blood, have more copper than iron in their blood, so I have added a small amount of copper a few times a week. I have done best with: adding DHEA 25 mg daily (over 20 years now) IV Chelation and IV DMSO has done wonders for 21 years...12 each annually. I continue with a positive ANA and asymptomatic with no Rx. I go out of the country for the IV Chleation and IV DMSO as they know the correct minerals etc. to use in the IV.Read More Read Less

Copper has kept my hair from going grey. I had an accident and was in the hospital for a long time where I had no supplements when I came home my hair was falling out and the new hair was grey, I started back on copper and zink and my hair has stopped falling out. It is too soon to tell if the color will return but I know the copper is important for me.

I am 77 years old, in great health except for my back. I have osteoarthritis, stenosis and scoliosis. I have tried medications, acupuncture and shots from a pain doctor. Nothing worked until I discovered CopperPlus transdermal patches. the 40mg of copper peptide made my pain disappear except when we have a rare extra cold day in South Texas. I am even able to cut the grass in my large backyard now - something I could never do before. Unfortunately the patches are on a hiatus from being manufactured, but I have been assured they will soon be available again. I did try another brand at more than twice the cost, but found them ineffective.Read More Read Less
