I haven't been on it long.... using the Natures Bounty now hopefully it will help, but I could not take the CVS brand. After the first time taking it ~ It started making my throat close ... There is a difference in Manufacturers!!!! so beware

After taking this supplement for about three months, my cholesterol level decreased from 240 to 217

Cholesterol was 238, 2 years later - 164. Take in the evening, and the best hint I received - purchase the "Extended Release" and take only once a day. Check with your doctor for the amount to take - and to see if it is a good idea. Active ingredient is the same as in Lipitor, etc. Same dangers and side effects apply.
