I'm 59 years old. I have raised by daughters using Goldenseal/Echinacea liquid for over 30 years. My girls did not miss school, when other children were sick. I took care of 3 people that got swine flu and did not get sick myself. I believe in using it as a perventitive. My young grandchildren also use it. I have taken goldenseal root capsules on and off for two years. During those two years I have not had a cold or infection at all. I would simply take them if I felt even the slightest symptom of a possible cold and it would be completely warded off by the goldenseal.
