Have used since living in NM. Have found to be extremely effective for colds and flu. I grind roots w/coffee grinder and make into a tea with honey and lemon, letting it get good and strong before drinking. I use about 1-1/2 to 2 tsp. p/about 12 oz. This is not the traditional Hispanic way to do it, but it works for me.
