I started taking monks pepper to diminish sex drive and almost immiediately I started feeling a difference. I feel over-all calmer and just feel better. Im a religious celibate

I started taking vitex about 4 months ago to treat irregular periods and I had been bleeding for 8 weeks without a break. After taking vitex I stopped bleeding and have since had 3 very light periods and more of a regular cycle. I feel like i've got my life back. i am a person who suffers from bipolar II disorder and frequently experience symptoms of hyper sexuality and somtimes need to shut off my sex drive(it tends to drive my partner crazy with my need for sex. I started taking vitex for irregular periods, which I've had since I was a teen. BC has been helpful sometimes making me regular but now that we are ttc..I stopped BC and went from 27 day cycles to 65+ day cycles again. I started vitex about 2 and a half months ago. I took Vitex/chasteberry to help deal with perimenopausal symptoms - irritability, anxiety, irregular periods, etc. I took 400mg 3x a day, per the instructions on the bottle. It had said to take that dose for 8-12 weeks and then decrease to 1x/day, as it works gently and gradually.
