Used following exposure to radiograms to decrease effects; when feeling as though toxins have built up. Burdock is to be used in combination with another, milder herb. The roots should be used. WebMd should specify burdock "root." It is not an herb meant for constant use - few are. I don't know what that fellow was doing using burdock leaves internally.

Is Burdock the reason I have a sensitivity to tongue, or numbness and have lost my taste? Also I have been on Opdivo (Nivolummab) for over a year and haven't experienced that type of symptom.

Best kept secret for quick healing. Have been using it for years, and it's better than Yellow Dock or other herbs for stopping the bleeding. Swab under band-aid.

Burdock is so far the best treatment I have found for my psoriasis. I have previously tried various creams as well as light therapy from 'mainstream' medicine, but these all have a very damaging effect and the light therapy takes a lot of time as well. Also tried some other alternative therapies which didn't work. Since about 2 years I use burdock regularly, I take the tincture normally for a few months in a row, and then take a break. If I haven't used it for a while I will normally notice that at first my spots get a bit worse, but within max about 4 weeks after I've started, the spots will get softer and softer. It doesn't clear it completely for me but gradually, over time I do see significant improvement, spots decreasing in size quite dramatically and getting thinner, some spots are really just looking red but not thick. I mostly mix the burdock tincture with either some chamomile or dandelion tincture (about 3 : 1).Read More Read Less

i had a golf ball sized tumor on my left kidney. dr. said to wait six months, because these were slow growing usually. started taking taking 2 burdock root capsules each morning dissolved in my coffee. after six months i had ct scan and the same doctor found it to be reduced to the size of a pea. had the rest frozen off and samples taken. turned out to be cancer. so far so good. still take the same dosage.
