Watercress is contains Mustard Oil, a Erucic acid with questionable tolerance and asdsssociation of myocardial lipidosis, heart lesions and hepatic steatosis in animals. I eventually came across this information after sampling a small bowl of raw Watercress. Apart from the very strong mustard-like taste, it induced a runny nose, due to the strong odor irritating the sinuses. Do your research before ingestion. (Note some indication of Mustard Oil being banned for consumption)
