I struggle with keeping my cholesterol HDL & LDL levels in the right balance. Typically using 1 gram of non flushing Niacin, 3grams of Fish Oil (Omega 3), 1/2 avocado, and oatmeal daily. I started drinking goats milk which contains Omega 6 and my next check up the doctor said “Your cholesterol is great 160.” I said “That’s high.” His response was “But it’s all good!”

Eating a diet rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids is something my MS doctor recommended as "maybe" helpful back in 1999 when I was diagnosed. Studies now say there's no real link - that's fine. It doesn't hurt to eat well, and there are other benefits to Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids; there has been no harm done. Who knows what the next shift in the conventional wisdom will say? ;-)
