Shelley A. Borgia, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Shelley Borgia, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, is a board-certified audiologist. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Her private practice, NYC Hearing Associates, has three offices in New York City. She has also been featured on The Dr. Oz Show, the Today show, and other nationally televised programs as an advocate for auditory awareness. 

Borgia received her Bachelor of Arts in speech and hearing science at Hofstra University in 2004, her Master of Science in communication science at Hunter College in 2006, and her doctorate in audiology at the University of Florida in 2009. 

She specializes in diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing device evaluation, customized hearing device-fitting and verification, aural rehabilitation, tinnitus management, auditory deprivation, hearing preservation, and customized musician’s devices.
