You may have no symptoms after you take a toxic amount of acetaminophen for up to 24 hours.

After that, the following symptoms are common:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Not feeling well
  • Not able to eat or poor appetite
  • Abdominal pain
  • Confusion
  • Jaundice (yellow skin)
