What is vitamin B-12 (cobalamin)?

ANSWER

Vitamin B-12 helps make DNA and keeps nerve cells and red blood cells healthy. People over age 50 are more likely to be low on B-12. Lack of it can cause fatigue, weakness, memory loss, and other problems with the nervous system.
