It depends on what they are allergic to. Most kids don’t outgrow seasonal allergies, or hay fever. But some do outgrow food allergies to milk, eggs, or soy. A lower number -- about 20% -- outgrows a peanut allergy. A still smaller number -- 9% -- outgrows a treenut allergy. Talk to your doctor about it.
