Whether you have had ankylosing spondylitis for some time or you were recently diagnosed with it, you will know the difficulties of living with this condition. Since the condition is not well-known, not many people can help you or understand what you are going through.

But there are many useful resources where you can find assistance and guidance.

  • The Arthritis Foundation is a nonprofit advocating for ankylosing spondylitis awareness and research. The organization has several networking opportunities for people with arthritis.
  • The Live Yes! Arthritis Network is an online forum where you can connect with others and support each other. Members can share everything from experiences to treatment tips.
  • The Spondylitis Association of America has plenty of information about ankylosing spondylitis and its management.
  • The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases has a section dedicated to ankylosing spondylitis information.
  • The Arthritis Foundation: Living with Arthritis is a blog where you can find the latest information about ankylosing spondylitis.
  • The Canadian Spondylitis Association: Your Stories is an online community where you can share your ankylosing spondylitis story and read about other people's experiences with the condition.
