How long will my new joint last after hip replacement surgery?

ANSWER

About 85% of the hip joint implants will last 20 years. Better surgery methods and artificial joint materials will make them last even longer. If your new joint gets damaged and you need another surgery, you can get another replacement but the surgery will be trickier.
