What is a hip replacement surgery?

ANSWER

This surgery is when your surgeon takes out a painful hip joint with arthritis and replaces it with an artificial joint often made from metal and plastic parts. It usually is done when all other treatment options have failed to relieve your pain. The surgery can make walking easier.
