Is cigarette smoke linked to asthma?

ANSWER

Smoking does make you more prone to asthma, for adolescents, too. Being around secondhand smoke has been linked to asthma in early life. Mothers who smoke when they're pregnant seem to have infants whose lungs don't work as well.
