When are symptoms of exercise-induced asthma?

ANSWER

They generally begin within 5-20 minutes after you start exercising, or 5-10 minutes after brief exercise has stopped. Let your doctor know if you have:

  • Coughing with asthma
  • Tightening of the chest
  • Wheezing
  • Unusual fatigue while exercising
  • Shortness of breath when exercising
