How much weight should I gain if I am over 35 and pregnant with twins?

ANSWER

Talk with your doctor about how much weight you should gain. Women with a normal BMI should gain between 37 and 54 pounds during pregnancy with twins. If you were overweight before getting pregnant, your doctor may recommend that you only gain 31 to 50 pounds. Obese women should gain about 25 to 42 pounds.
