Is it normal to be bloated when pregnant with twins?

ANSWER

Your pants may feel tight even if you're not that far along. Blame hormone changes that can make your digestive system slow down and your smooth muscle tissue to relax. This can cause bloating. It's like what happens to many women right before their period starts. You might also be constipated. It's all normal, and usually goes away after you have your babies. Meanwhile, exercise, small meals, and high-fiber foods can help ease bloating.
