Who shouldn't get an artificial disc for cervical disc disease?

ANSWER

Not everyone is a candidate for an artificial disc. People who have osteoporosis, joint disease, infection, inflammation at the site, or an allergy to stainless steel may not be able to have disc replacement surgery.
