These include:

  • Vomiting, nausea, cramps
  • Dizziness, a sign of dehydration
  • Mineral imbalance
  • Problems absorbing medication on the day of the procedure
  • Tears or holes in bowel
  • Infection
  • Wiping out helpful normal bowel flora unless replaced (i.e. probiotics)
  • Kidney failure
