SUBJECT: So what's my favorite downtime activity?
I have to say, I'm super fortunate to live
in Southern California where we have access to the beaches
all the time.
So when I've had a busy day, I love to get down by the water
and actually just sit there and watch the surfers.
Because I think so often in our days
things are so crazy that we don't take time
to just sit back and literally silence everything.
Turn off our cellphones.
Get the computer put away.
And just be with nature for a while.
And I personally try to take about five to 10 minutes a day
where I do some meditation.
I just sit still.
And then, when I come out of those,
I just feel so refreshed and ready to get back
into life coming from a place where
I'm actively calm, but calmly active.
