What are side effects of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressants for bipolar depression?

ANSWER

SSRIs are a newer class of antidepressants. They cause milder side effects than older drugs. You may have some of the side effects only briefly at the beginning of treatment.
