What is the treatment for normal pressure hydrocephalus?

ANSWER

Normal pressure hydrocephalus generally cannot be cured. But many people get relief through surgery, such as having a shunt put in your brain to drain fluid away. People who can't have surgery might get different kinds of therapy to help with mood and behavioral problems and physical problems such as incontinence and walking difficulties.
