How does anastrozole treat breast cancer?

ANSWER

Anastrozole (Arimidex), exemestane (Aromasin), and letrozole (Femara) are aromatase inhibitors. They are used to treat ER-positive breast cancer, either following tamoxifen treatment or by themselves.
