What causes Bowen's disease other than HPV?

ANSWER

Scientists aren’t sure exactly what causes the other forms of Bowen’s disease. However, spending a lot of time in the sun over the years and aging may make you more likely to get many skin cancers, including this one.

Poisoning with arsenic also seems to raise your chances of getting this early form of skin cancer.
