Where do medulloblastomas form?

ANSWER

Medulloblastomas start in the cerebellum, near the base of the skull. This is the part of the brain that controls balance and motor skills. The tumors tend to grow quickly and can spread to other parts of the brain, spinal cord, and bone marrow.
