At 31, an age when most models have ended their careers, she was on the cover of Time as "The All-American Model." As recently as 1996, she appeared in Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue. A committed humanitarian, she serves on the boards of COACH for Kids and the Earth Conservation Corps and is a spokesperson for the City of Hope.
