Recall: Paw Patrol Marshall Hat Poses Fire Hazard

April 6, 2018 -- Spirit Halloween is recalling 20,000 of its Nickelodeon Paw Patrol Marshall Hats with a flashlight because its batteries may overheat, posing a burn and fire hazard.
The company received several reports of a flashlight overheating, but no injuries or fires have been reported.

Spirit Halloween sold the hats in stores nationwide from September 2015 through November 2017. The red hats have a yellow ribbon, black-and-white-spotted dog, and a black flashlight attached to the side.

Hats with the stock keeping unit (SKU) code 01292093 and date codes 1703RY01, 1603RY01, and 1503RY01 are involved in this recall. You can find the date codes on the label under the ear on the hat.

If you have one of the hats, take the flashlight away from children, remove the batteries, and throw out the flashlight. You can contact Spirit Halloween for a refund and must provide a photo of the tag located under the ear in the hat.
