How do doctors diagnose whooping cough?
ANSWER
Your doctor can check you for whooping cough with a simple nasal swab test. Whooping cough is caused by a bacteria and should be treated with antibiotics. Antibiotics may ease your symptoms and prevent spread, especially if you take them during the first few weeks of the cough.
