What do teeth with fluorosis look like?

ANSWER

Teeth that are unaffected by fluorosis are smooth and glossy. They should also be a pale, creamy white.

Teeth with fluorosis have discoloration anywhere from tiny white specks or streaks that may be unnoticeable or dark brown stains and rough, pitted enamel that's difficult to clean. Dentists rate the severity of fluorosis from questionable to severe.
