Claudio Palma, MD, is an anesthesiologist and interventional pain management specialist in California.

Palma completed his anesthesiology training at University of California, Los Angeles and subsequently completed a pain management fellowship at UCLA.

Palma practices interventional pain management with a focus on spine disorders, neuropathic pain, and cancer pain. He is skilled in numerous interventional techniques including both cervical and lumbar epidurals, transforaminal epidural injections, zygapophyseal joint injections, sacroiliac joint (SI) injections, radiofrequency rhizotomy, sympathetic nerve blocks, neurolytic procedures, spinal cord stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems.

Palma is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, speaks fluent Spanish, and is a member of Operation Rainbow, where he provides free medical care to underserved people around the world. 

Palma is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certificate in pain medicine.
