Halley Cornell

Halley Cornell is associate director of content strategy at WebMD, helping to plan, create, and guide content projects and goals. 

Cornell is a lifelong health educator who has managed communications for an international HIV nonprofit that provided free clinical management support. She also worked as an award-winning reporter for a variety of community and industry newspapers. 

Cornell freelances as a writer for music publications such as Record Plug Magazine and for WebMD’s mental health blogs. Cornell also volunteers for several community and advocacy organizations, including Georgia Radio Reading Service, Atlanta Free Fridge, reproductive justice causes like Amplify Georgia, a reproductive rights group, and New Georgia Project, which promotes voter registration and civic engagement. 

In her free time, Cornell enjoys songwriting and playing with local bands, growing vegetables, and reading and writing poetry, essays, and short fiction.
