Rejean Rochette is Senior Vice President of Medscape Education, responsible for all US and Global Medical Education Operations. Mr. Rochette has been with WebMD since 2004.
Prior to assuming responsibility for US and Global Medical Education Operationsin October 2016, Mr. Rochette was Senior Vice President for US Medical Education sales. Under Mr. Rochette’s leadership, the company enhanced its Patient Education and Virtual Patient Simulation product portfolio, and established strategic partnerships with academic centers and other organizations to provide additional opportunities to reach and educate physicians, patients and their care givers. He also led the company’s efforts to demonstrate the impact of education on physician behavior.
From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Rochette was Executive Vice President at Conceptis, the parent company of cardiology website www.theheart.org, until the site was acquired by WebMD in 2004.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Rochette spent 15 years with American Hospital, which later became Baxter, where he held a variety of sales, marketing and management positions. He graduated from McGill University.
