Does exercise help with postpartum depression?

ANSWER

Exercise can help lift your spirits. Once you've recovered physically from giving birth, try to get some exercise every day. One study shows that women who do hard exercise after recovering from childbirth tend to feel better. If you're not sure if you're physically ready to exercise yet, ask your doctor.
