Here are ways to give yourself daily depression support:

  • Track your mood each day to find out what makes you feel better and what makes you feel worse.
  • Keep a regular routine.
  • Eat a balanced diet.
  • Get enough of sleep.
  • Avoid tobacco, alcohol, and street drugs.
  • Take your prescribed medications, and make sure you don't run out.
  • Call your doctor if your mood gets worse or if your treatment isn’t working.
