  • headache
  • a reaction at the site of administration
  • sudden pain at the site of medicine application

RARE side effects

  • hives
  • decreased pigmentation of the skin
  • central serous chorioretinopathy
  • water retention
  • mental problems from taking the drug
  • confusion
  • paranoia
  • over excitement
  • personality disorders
  • pseudotumor cerebri, a condition with high fluid pressure in the brain
  • a disease with shrinking and weaker muscles called myopathy
  • high blood pressure
  • slow heartbeat
  • chronic heart failure
  • obstruction of a blood vessel by a blood clot
  • fluid in the lungs
  • an ulcer from too much stomach acid
