  • Absolute Contraindication: NOT RECOMMEND;EXCRETED IN RATS; POSSIBILITY OF HYPOGLYCEMIA IN NURSING INFANT

If you are an adult over 60

  • management or monitoring precaution: Renal-Decreased renal function increases risk of severe and prolonged hypoglycemia. Initiate at low dose, titrate slowly.

Giving Glimepiride to a child under 12

  • Severe Precaution: Not recommended in pediatrics. Risk of hypoglycemia and weight gain.
