  • If you are an adult over 60

  • management or monitoring precaution: Renal-Screen all elderly patients for renal function prior to administering to minimize risk for acute kidney injury and Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis. Contraindicated with acute or chronic severe renal disease.
  • Pediatric use

  • Severe Precaution: Safety and effectiveness not established in pediatrics age < 2 years. Rare risk of nephrogenic systemic fibrosis in patients with impaired kidney fxn; Contraindicated in Canada in neonates age < 4 weeks with insufficient kidney development.
